From 6-9:30 am each day, we proudly feature local products including yogurt and oatmeal with toppings, biscuits and gravy, cottage cheese, rice pudding, hard cooked eggs, muffins and fresh fruit, along with orange juice, apple juice, and coffee from local roasters. You are free to enjoy all of this in your room, outside, or in a brown bag “to-go.” Additional breakfast items are also available for purchase, including breakfast sandwiches!
Beer? Wine? No Problem!
You can opt to drive around on a “tasting tour” to some of our area’s excellent breweries and wineries, or you can stay on-site and we will bring the beer and wine to you! When you stay at our small, independent hotel, alcoholic beverages are available to all guests over 21 years of age – simply sign your purchase to your room. We offer several Humboldt County beers and Napa Valley wines, including Gentlemen Farmer Wines and Larkin Wines. Featured beer providers are:
- Fortuna’s Own Eel River Brewery: Eel River’s diverse offerings of excellent craft beer include their 100% organic series of five unique brews, including our local favorite, California Blonde, a light, crispy blonde ale.
- Mad River Brewing in Blue Lake, CA: Mad River has been crafting award-winning ales since 1989, including their Steelhead Extra Pale Ale, a popular choice of The Redwood Hotel’s staff.
- Lost Coast Brewery in Eureka, CA: We recommend their classic Lost Coast Tangerine Wheat, a hoppy wheat flavor jolted by a kick of citrus – perfect for hot summer days and cool breezy evenings.
If you opt to relax with dinner delivered to your room (see our Pizza! Pizza! Package), it’s easy to accompany your dinner with your preferred wine or beer.
