COVID-19 Updates:
Our staff is continually updated with the latest information from our local, state, and federal health authorities, and our procedures are modified constantly as a result of any health and safety recommendations from our regulatory agencies.
Staff and Guest Safety:
We consistently reinforce to our staff that they should stay home if they show any signs of illness. While this has been a standard practice for our hotel, we remain vigilant in ensuring our team understands how vital this is for everyone’s safety -including our guests. Our hotel design allows our guest rooms to be generously spaced apart from each other.
Cleaning and Hygiene Procedures:
Our already rigorous cleaning and sanitization procedures have been ramped up. In addition to our detailed room cleanings between guests, we clean more often, especially in common areas, sanitizing “hot spots” (door handles, counters and the like) much more frequently. Our on-site laundry and business center are also sterilized daily.
Policies and features we’ve always had in place:
- Cancellation: You can cancel a reservation anytime – even as late as the day of check-in.
- Deposit: No deposit ever!
- Charges: Your credit/debit card will not be charged until checkout!

We also feature a special pizza dinner package from our favorite local pizza parlor, Westside Pizza. As of this blog post, 280 California state parks are temporarily closed to vehicular traffic, however, some local parks within Humboldt County remain open for day use. Walking, hiking and biking are permitted in open areas or designated trails that allow for 6 feet of distancing. Please visit the parks and facilities webpage for the most up-to-date information.
