Don’t miss Hops in Humboldt, Saturday, August 26, 2017 right here in the heart of California’s redwoods. The largest annual beer fest in Humboldt brings over 35 breweries from Michigan, Colorado, Oregon, and California, plus musical entertainment and great food to Fortuna’s Rohner Park! Spend the afternoon listening to live music by Jenni and David and the Sweet Soul Band, Strix Vega, and Melange, while you sample brews and enjoy the displays of local arts and craft vendors. Your ticket includes unlimited samples of hundreds of different micro-brews, plus a souvenir glass, of course! You’ll have a challenge deciding which one should receive your vote for the Taster’s Choice Award – the people’s choice. Other awards include The Best of Hops, Sponsor’s Choice, Mayor’s Choice, Perpetual Trophy, and last but not least, the Best of Humboldt Award selected from Humboldt County breweries. Hops in Humboldt features Hops Games as well, where for ‘pocket change’ you can test your skills at challenges like Beer Bottle Ring Toss and Drink-O to win prizes like hats, t-shirts, posters, mugs, and more. You’ll need to eat as well sample the suds, so a dozen different food vendors will sell everything from All-American BBQ, steak, local hot dogs, and pizza to Indian, Mexican and Latin foods. You’ll be able to satisfy any sweet tooth with fresh mini-donuts and kettle corn, too.
Hops in Humboldt is a non-profit dedicated to helping raise money for other local non-profits, so you can “drink for a good cause”. The event features a large tented beer area and offers free bottled water throughout the afternoon. They suggest wearing comfortable shoes, and if you prefer the sun, you may wish to bring a blanket (and perhaps sunscreen and a hat) to relax on the grass while you enjoy the music and brews.
PLEASE NOTE: You must be age 21+ to attend and present a valid ID at the gate. Hops Games and many food vendors accept cash only. Hops in Humboldt is held August 26, 2017, rain or shine. There are no refunds.

General Admission: $35 in advance; $45 at the gate; non-drinkers $10 at the gate
General Admission Tickets may be purchased online or at several locations in Humboldt County including Fortuna, Eureka, and Arcata. Tickets may be purchased until August 25, 2017, unless they sell out earlier.
VIP Tickets: $75 including VIP commemorative glass, admission one hour prior to general admission, opportunity to visit with brewmasters, first grabs at brewery swag, etc.
VIP tickets (only 200 sold) are available presale only, and may be purchased online or at a few of the Humboldt County locations.
